Join us for All Music, All Day — a one-day musical adventure filled with exploration, group learning, and hands-on creativity! This special event offers students a chance to rotate through a series of engaging, age-appropriate classes that cover a wide range of musical subjects, from rhythm games and technique to ear training, improvisation, music theory, and more.

Led by four of our wonderful Galliard teachers, the day is designed for fun, variety, and meaningful learning — perfect during a Monday when schools are closed!

Students Will Explore:

  • Music Theory – Understanding the language of music in a fun, interactive way

  • Technique & Performance Skills – Learn the secrets behind a smooth, confident performance

  • Ear Training & Improvisation – Strengthening musical instincts and creative expression

  • Rhythm Games – Movement-based activities that build coordination and timing

  • Music History & Listening – Discovering famous composers and styles through guided listening

  • Creative Activities – Storytelling, art, and sound experiments (for younger ages)

FAQ

Who can join?
The classes are tailored for all music students ages 4 through 17 and are open to all levels. This event is primarily for Galliard Music students, but friends and siblings are welcome to join too! No prior musical experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

How many students per class?
3-7 students per class.

What kind of music classes are offered at the camp?
For ages 6 and up, each group will enjoy a variety of classes, including music theory, ear training, technique, performance skills, music history, and improvisation.

The Little Mozart Group (ages 4-5) will have classes focused on rhythm and movement games, singing, storytime with musical characters and sound effects, and activities that connect music with art.

What should students bring?
Students should bring their own water bottle, a snack, and a lunch. All musical instruments and materials will be provided.

What is the schedule?
The schedule for the day is 9:00am to 3:00pm.

The Little Mozart Group (ages 4-5) has early dismissal at 12:30pm.

Is lunch provided?
Lunch is not provided, but there will be a designated lunch break and snack break. Students should bring their own lunch, a snack and a water bottle.

Where is the camp located?
The camp will be held at PianoPiano on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, located at 37 W. 65th St, 4th Fl.

What is the cost to register?
Little Mozart Group $185; all other groups $285. Payment is due upon registration.

Can parents stay and watch?
To ensure a focused learning environment, we kindly ask that parents do not stay. We encourage independence and active participation from all students. Parents can drop off their children at the beginning of the day and pick them up at the end.

Galliard Music provides support beyond the music class via email or phone. If you'd like to speak directly with the instructor who will be teaching the class, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Payment

Payment for classes at Galliard Music is accepted via Credit Card only. Your card will be charged upon registration to secure your spot in the camp.

Our Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are not possible, and refunds will not be issued if a student is unable to attend.
