Originally from South Korea, Juhyun is an internationally active lyric soprano and devoted educator, known for her ability to guide students in discovering their most authentic and expressive voice. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Ewha Womans University, one of Korea’s top music institutions, and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.
She has performed on stages around the world and continues to maintain an active performance career alongside her teaching. Her voice and piano lessons are rooted in classical vocal technique while embracing a wide range of genres, helping students build a strong technical foundation, emotional connection, and stylistic versatility. She has guided many students through successful auditions and conservatory entrance exams, offering expert support tailored to each student’s goals.
Juhyun is a versatile artist whose work spans classical music, musical theatre, crossover, and K-pop. As a member of Classchic—a forward-thinking Korean female vocal group blending classical technique with contemporary genres—she is committed to innovation in performance and education. Her recent collaborations in K-pop have allowed her to connect with international students interested in combining classical training with modern vocal styles. Her deep understanding of both Western and Korean vocal aesthetics enables her to provide a unique and culturally informed approach to K-pop vocal coaching.
