Lily is a Seoul-born classical pianist based in NYC. She is a graduate of Columbia University and The Juilliard School. Lily has performed in venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, has participated in international festivals including Gijón International Piano Festival, Orford Music Academy, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and International Institute for Young Musicians, and is a recipient of the National YoungArts Competition. 

Lily’s teaching philosophy is informed by her training with Professor Matti Raekallio, placing dual emphasis on body-informed technique and cultivating students’ individual interpretive and expressive capabilities. A sensitive mentor with a background in education, Lily brings socioemotional learning to her lessons. 

Lily is also an art critic and curator.
