Recognized for combining technical training with her joyful engagement style, Lucy is excited to enhance each student's unique musical style while building their confidence for the stage and recording booth. A 2024 graduate from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Concentration in Vocal Performance, Adelman is thrilled to take her teaching and performing experience to New York.

The Atlanta native’s formal music journey began in the fourth grade when her first listen of Stevie Wonder’s “I Was Made to Love Her” propelled her to pick up the Double Bass in the school orchestra. She trained in orchestra and jazz band through high school and went on to study jazz bass in college.

Lucy’s vocal journey began on stage at age five and continued into private lessons through her time performing and studying at Emory. During the spring of 2023, Lucy was accepted into the Royal Danish Academy of Music for Vocal Performance. The conservatory experience rounded out her multi- genre vocal training in Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Classical.

At 13 years old, Lucy picked up the guitar and at 15 Lucy was accompanying herself on the piano. Lucy’s performance experience ranges from collegiate a cappella competitions, musical theatre productions, and to the current fall NYC tour for her original music.

From coaching artists in the recording studio, to teaching music for over 8 years, Lucy is beyond excited to help students bring music to life while building confidence and joy in their creativity and expression!
